Q: How does it work?
A: Click. Buy. Help. establishes affiliate relationships with online retailers. When Click. Buy. Help. drives online traffic – and sales – to those retailers’ web sites, it earns a commission.
Q: How does Click. Buy. Help.’s commissions help non-profit organizations?
A: When a non-profit organization partners with Click. Buy. Help., they get their own page at www.ClickBuyHelp.org. That page contains links to various online retailers. When supporters begin their online shopping from the organization’s page, Click. Buy. Help. earns a commission. Since the commissions are tagged to that organization, Click. Buy. Help. then donates 50% of the proceeds to them – a true “Win/Win” partnership. As you can see, Click. Buy. Help. has a significant incentive built in to make your organization successful. We don’t make a dollar until you do!
Q: Only 50%? Why only 50%? Other sites boast about certain percentages. Aren’t they donating the entire commission?
A: No. While other sites boast about an organization earning 2% or 5% or any other percentage from certain retailers, the reality is that they are earning much more. The percentages posted are “approximately” 50%. Click. Buy. Help. is associated with the same group of merchants, so we know the amounts. In many cases, 50% is actually MORE than what they publish. Some percentages grow with volume in a given month and Click. Buy. Help. donates a FULL 50% every time (not just a fixed amount.)
Q: Are prices for the merchandise the same as if the visitor went to the merchant’s site directly?
A: Yes, purchases are still being made directly from the merchant’s site – regardless how the customer got there. Pricing is “the same” because the commission earned is already part of the purchase price as a cost of acquiring the customer.

A: Yes! With thousands of online retailers from which to choose, an organization can customize the shopping options based on the demographics of their supporters. Click. Buy. Help. works closely with the organization to help them craft the best combination of retailers to offer.
Q: Are there any limits to the number of retailers an organization can select?
A: No. Every one of the online retailers could be selected. However, that of course would be a substantially large directory, where a more carefully chosen list may be advisable.
Q: Does Click. Buy. Help. provide any assistance to the organizations for spreading the word to their supporters?
A: Absolutely! This is what sets Click. Buy. Help. apart from many other “web sites.” Click. Buy. Help. is more of a “service.” It has a library of promotional tools (and is always working on more) and works closely with the organization to develop a marketing campaign. Many other sites have thousands of member organizations, but don’t provide much personal assistance. Essentially, they are “wide and shallow.” Click. Buy. Help. prefers to develop strong relationships with a smaller number of organizations and help each one deeply and to help them gain significant success. We prefer to call this approach “narrow, but very deep.”
Q: If my organization wanted to join Click. Buy. Help., how would the process look?
A: Click. Buy. Help. will work closely with your team to design your page. We will obtain your organization’s logo, appropriate descriptive text and discuss the demographics of your supporters. On that basic information alone, we can create your page and make it live. The best approach is to start small and quietly with a few retailers, test it with your staff and their family and friends, then develop a strategic communication campaign to inform your supporters. Remember, you’ll be asking them to support you without “digging any deeper.” This will be a new concept for them, so a little education will be in order. Their support comes from online purchase they are probably already making. Remember, Click. Buy. Help. will work with you every step of the way!
Q: What goes into a “strategic communication campaign?” It sounds complicated.
A: Not really. Click. Buy. Help. will work with your staff to help you identify the best way to communicate with your supporters. It may include asking them to take a brief survey to find out which online retailers would be the most popular. Depending on whether your organization has a newsletter with regular distribution, there may be an opportunity for Click. Buy. Help. to write an article welcoming your organization to the Click. Buy. Help. family and explain how the process works. It may be as simple as placing some information on your web site, with a link to your page on Click. Buy. Help. Since each organization has a unique set of circumstances, Click. Buy. Help. will work closely with you to create a process that is best for you – and most importantly – your supporters.
