BlueHost is the Best Web Site Hosting Service
Jan 7th
Click. Buy. Help. has been using BlueHost as its web site hosting service from the beginning. They have been a solid service provider and always there for me when I’ve needed to have a bullet removed from my foot. I am pleased to announce they are now available as a Click. Buy. Help. merchant.
Web site hosting service?
This may not be the usual place to shop for most of your supporters, but think of this: many of your supporters work for, or are owners of, companies. Businesses who probably have web sites. Web sites that need to be hosted somewhere. This isn’t a regular retailer found at “the mall” but is something that nearly every business needs.
The people at BlueHost are absolutely the best at providing support – something that is important to every business owner. They always solve my (self-inflicted) problems quickly and with class. I expect to be with them for a very long time. Not a mainstream fundraising idea, but not a bad one either!
If you click through from this post, Click. Buy. Help. of course earns a commission on the sale. But if you want to become a part of those earnings, give some thought to your supporter base. Do you have a group who are small business owners? Do you have “hobby bloggers” who have their own web sites? Do you have independent consultants who need solid web hosting and the best support around? If so, let me know and I’ll get BlueHost set up for your Click. Buy. Help. page!

Amazon Expanding Grocery Delivery
Jan 25th
Amazon is decidedly the largest producer for Click. Buy. Help. In yesterday’s Tech Flash, it was reported that Amazon is planning to expand the grocery delivery service they have been testing in Seattle since 2007.
Click. Buy. Help. organizations: can you imagine the potential earnings if all your supporters bought what they buy every week anyway – groceries – through Amazon Fresh?
The NPR audio attached to the Tech Flash story talks about some potential competition from Walmart. Hmmmm. Not to worry. Walmart is another Click. Buy. Help. merchant.
Another question: what’s the best way to promote this to your supporters?
Let the deliveries begin!

Spotlight On: Amazon.com
Oct 14th
Amazon.com is by far the most popular in many online circles. Each Click. Buy. Help. organization uses it as an anchor on their page, not unlike an “anchor tenant” in a big shopping mall – it’s what helps draw people in. It makes sense then, to republish this story from earlier this year and use it as the first Spotlight story.
Amazon is the most successful retailer on Click. Buy. Help. With an enormous collection of products from a seemingly endless (oh wait, that’s one of their brands, too!) selection of merchants, Amazon is one of the best retailers organizations can choose for helping supporters begin their Click. Buy. Help. experience. More >
Retailer Questions Most Popular
Oct 11th
Interest in what Click. Buy. Help. can do to assist non-profit organizations continues to grow. The most common question prospective organizations have is, “who are the retailers?” With over 700 from which to choose – and more being added all the time – there simply isn’t a “directory” that can be published. As soon as it would be updated, it would be out of date.
To accommodate this growing interest in the selection of online retailers, Click. Buy. Help. will begin to publish recurring “Spotlight” stories and introduce individual merchants. This will allow some background information to be shared and provide an introduction to the retailer. The intent is to help the help organizations choose the best combination of merchants to make available to their supporters. More >
Our First Organization: Schoolhouse Supplies
Jun 20th
Click. Buy. Help. continues to evolve. You may have noticed some changes lately – and there are more planned. What’s driving these changes is responsiveness. Click. Buy. Help. is dedicated to helping non-profit organizations and being responsive to their needs is paramount.
First, Click. Buy. Help. is pleased and proud to have Schoolhouse Supplies join as the first organization! Initially, a small pilot test with their close friends and colleagues will take place from a small collection of retailers from their page. Then, as we refine our strategies, they will consider expanding to their current supporters.
Please welcome Schoolhouse Supplies to the Click. Buy. Help. community by visiting their page, learn more about the good work they do for teachers and students, and join in the pilot test – jump off from their site to do some shopping!
In addition to our first organization, a number of new retailers have been added. More >
New Retailer: Office Depot
May 30th
Click. Buy. Help. is pleased to announce the addition of Office Depot to it’s growing selection of online retailers. Office Depot, Inc. is a global supplier of office products and services. The company was incorporated in 1986 with the opening of its first retail store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Their North American Retail Division sells a broad assortment of merchandise through their chain of office supply stores in the U.S. and Canada, offering general office supplies, computer supplies, business machines and related supplies, and office furniture from national brands as well as their own private brands. Most stores also contain a Copy & Print Depot (TM) offering printing, reproduction, mailing, shipping, and other services. They also maintain nationwide availability of a PC support and network installation service that provides customers with in-home, in-office and in-store support for their technology needs.
Office Depot’s online store offers thousands of items for use in the home, office, or anywhere you need quality supplies. Combine substantial selection with great prices, and it makes a perfect addition to the Founder’s Choice page.
